After crushing and destemming, the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks (22–24°C) for 10–15 days, followed by optional skin maceration depending on the vintage. Part of the wine ages 15 months in concrete tanks, where malolactic fermentation occurs, and part in 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels
