The Villa “Le Masse di Greve” is located just 500m from the main square of Greve in Chianti. Greve is a medieval town located only 30km away from Florence. Its famous triangular-shaped square has been for centuries, the place of the Saturday market & the Chianti Classico Exposition.

Color: intense ruby red, with shades of burgundy

Nose: full, sweet & fruity, with hints of earthy minerals & touches of chocolate

Flavor/Finish: medium tannic structure, sweet at first, accompanied by a good level of acidity & persistent fruity aftertaste

Varietal: primarily Sangiovese, with complimentary varietals

Food Pairing: simple red meat dishes mushrooms, pate, mature dry cheeses

Process: aged in 2nd year oak barriques & quintal barrels for 12 months; bottle aged at least 6 months

Serving Temperature: 64 - 66 °F

Alcohol: 13.5%
