The Chianti Classico is the soul of Meleto, as the Sangiovese grape expresses itself purely & is a true embodiment of the plots from which it comes: Meleto, Poggiarso & Casi.

Flavor/Finish: full fruit, with notes of dark berries, spice & a pleasant freshness; tannins felt, but not aggressive

Food Pairing: traditional Tuscan dishes, such as ribollita & papa al pomodoro; grilled white & red meat

Process: 15 months in Slavonian oak barrels & concrete
